Impossible Project 2nd Gen Black and While Film

Impossible Project 2nd Gen Black and While Film

Impossible Project Co. has been the savior of old Polaroid camera users and fans ever since Polaroid Co decide simply to shut down everything including film factories. So we have more respect and faith on than Polaroid it self. Even though even they can't do much about it, at least Impossible Project is making film packs for Polaroid 600, SX-70 and Spectra cameras.

Now they have the second generation of their Black and White Polaroid film packs. For years these instant film packs are the only alternative out there for Polaroid camera users. Cost per print would be around $4, but it's better than nothing. Those film packs were not 100% perfect either. These had same problems old Polaroid film packs had,

These were slow to develop and there were duds here and there. Also photo quality was not so great either. Nobody would blame them for these since everyone appreciated the effort. But now, after years of experiments they have come out with far more superior line of film packs. So far these 2nd Generation packs are only available in black and white.

Old Polaroid film needed to be shield from light for a half an hour after you expose it. Also film would ruin unless you kept it with give temperature range. Anyway you must read instructions before you if you haven't use impossible Project film packs before. I have seen so many people leave negative reviews, blaming on film for not working properly. Over 75% of those reviews are totally wrong. Usually reason is they try to use the film without having a clue how to do it properly.

Right now Black & White 2 gen Film packs are available at Amazon for $24 (Check Amazon sales page for current price and details >> Here << ). 2 Gen. color film packs are not released yet so you can expect those in near future.

Anyway if you are new to Polaroid cameras then don't even think about buying one of these old used cameras. You will end up with all sorts of problems. There are plenty of really good new instant photo cameras out there in market for example here are some latest models,

These instant film camera are the latest from Polaroid and Fujifilm brands. Polaroid cameras are instant digital cameras. Instax Mini 70 and Polaroid Snap are the latest models in market today. Both these cameras use Mini film which cost you only around 50 cent per photo print. It's a big difference when you compare with $4 per print Impossible Project film packs.
